VINEYARD: Deep alluvial clay soil, with good content of limestone.

West-facing gentle slopes. Altitude 350 m a.m.s.l.; Hilly orography.

VINTAGE: 2021 was a warm, dry summer which led to a very consistent vintage. Harvest kicked off a little earlier than average.

WINEMAKING: The fruit is individually handpicked and whole bunch pressed to ensure purity and concentration of flavors. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks; once vinification is finished, the wines are aged in small stainless-steel vats for 24 months and 6 months in bottle.

APPEARANCE: Deep purple in the glass

TASTING NOTES: An intense bouquet of wild berries, Mediterranean herbs, menthol and liquorice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and velvety, with hints of minerality thanks to Salaparuta soil. Tannins are soft and well-integrated. Good length.
